They could just as easily run through your Apple Address Book, which may be
more likely to have data in it (given that it comes with the OS so more
people may use it) -- and has no such protection that I'm aware of.

Note that your Entourage contacts data could also be synchronized with
Address Book via Sync Services, assuming you're on Tiger and have Entourage
v11.2.3 or later installed.

FWIW, I like using Sync Services for my address book cards if for no other
reason than LaunchBar/QS don't have to launch Entourage to scan my contacts.
