Darrin,
I was asking if they could get to the front-end server
internally. You should be using the front-end server for all
Entourage-to-Exchange connections.
As far as settings that might block access, what kind of
authentication is allowed to the OWA website? Also, WebDAV access is
something that can be turned on or off. In the IIS snap-in, under "Web
Service Extensions," WebDAV should be set to "Allowed."

Any guidance I can pass on to our Exchange administrators to allow for Entourage to access in this manner? I mean, is there a setting on a front end server to “allow WebDAV connections” or something like that.
Thanks,
Darrin

We have something similar set up and haven't had any problems. Do you get the same message when they use Entourage in the office?

Subject: Entourage and Front-end servers
I'm fishing for help in determining how to configure Entourage (11.2.5) to use a front-end server, so that when the laptop is off our network, it will still connect to the users Exchange account (via internet connection/front end server).
I thought I would edit the Exchange server address in the Account settings to be the same as the address for OWA:
https://owa.coname.com/exchange (which does work within a browser).
All I get is a prompt that it couldn't connect and to try re-entering the password.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong??
