Thanks Claudia, I use that piece of functionality to great benefit already. Everything from web receipts to images I want to share reliably with Windoze users. I'm really looking for a script that will get a bulk load happening.
>Trevor - altho I can't write scripts, what you are looking for is something >that invokes that PDF function on PRINT. At the bottom of the window is a >PDF button, and there is a choice to SAVE AS PDF. You can also invoke >Preview for PDF instead of Acrobat, it is far better behaved IMHO that >Reader for viewing PDFs and allows for some editing and for saving in other >formats. >GodSpace >Claudia >805-777-7177 >Catholic Bookstore in >Conejo Valley Remo, > Why not just drag messages to the Finder, which creates standard RFC822 >(*.elm) files, or dragging folders to the Finder, which creates standard >MBOX files? Both of those are standard, plain text (their source can be read >in any text editor) formats that retain the messages exactly as you received >them. >-Remo Del Bello Unfortunately my business world is dominated by Windows users and I regularly need to share documents that I know wil get there. Often this includes e-mail that I have generated as part of a task or other project. Also, some of this stuff needs to have long term re-usabilty, so a PDF is best format. As I indicated, I have parts of scripts that do bits - I have one that will export e-mails as text, and I have a script that will batch convert the output. I guess I'll just have to have a go at cobbling them together and it will always be a multi part process.
