It sounds like they are there. When you do a find, does it show you the path
in the bottom of the window?

There have been other reports recently and it seems to be tied to Intel
Macs. AFAIK there is no explanation of what is happening.

Test your database by creating a new Identity. Download your maclaw mail
into this folder and see what happens. Be sure mail is set to leave on
server.
