Customizing my quote style

I would like to customize my quote format.

    I don't think indenting makes quotes clearly appear as quotes

And I hate >>>>these things

What I'd like would be:
quotes to be in a different color and in italic
(I always write my email in HTML)

Is there anyway to script this in Ent?
