My e-mail server (cox.net) flags suspected spam by adding the text "-- Spam
--" to the front of the subject line. For those messages that really are not
spam that I want to save, I would like to modify the subject line to remove
that text.

The quickest would be a script that removed this specific text from selected
e-mails. The more general would be a script that allowed me to edit the
subject line to my heart's desire.

I found reference in the archives to Allen Watson's favorite scripts which
included one to Modify Subject. However I could not find the script anywhere
I looked. (Allen's script archive - URL not found & macscripters.net - no
such script found)

Is there a scripting guru out there who can provide a solution to my problem
or a pointer to one.

TIA,

   Jim
