I have Office 2004 on my black MacBook (first generation with the
CoreDuo) and it runs fine. Actually a couple of recent updates to 10.4 and
Office 2004 made it run a bit better. I think 10.4.8 had something about
Rosetta running faster.
I also have it on my G4 iBook and my G3 iMac.
Because of the Intel chip and in spite of Rosetta, it runs much faster
on my MacBook than on my iBook (and, of course, on my iMac.)
