I use Entourage 2004 (v 11.2.5) with three accounts‹one POP, one Exchange
server, and one IMAP. Ever since I added the POP and Exchange accounts,
weird things have been happening with my IMAP, which is my main account.

1st problem: Often, new mail shows up in my IMAP inbox momentarily and then
disappears. It can be gone for a minute or up to a day before it reappears.
When I check my IMAP account through the university¹s web access, the
messages are on the server. On many occasions, I¹ve watched the magic
appear-disappear process. I can hit ³send and receive² as many times as I
want in Entourage, but the missing messages may or may not show up.
Sometimes they are from people in my address book, sometimes not.

2nd problem: I now have two message in my IMAP inbox that I am unable to
delete. They show up with no content, are not on the server, and cannot be
deleted. Both are from known sources. One came from a list serv, the other
from a colleague.

3rd problem: I¹m accustomed to the Entourage ³dropped connection² error
message at home, where I have a cable modem. However, now it occurs at work
as well where I have a T1 line. I have Entourage set up to stay connected.

I¹ve checked database integrity (said it was fine), rebuilt it, and backed
up. I have a G5 w/1.6 Ghz, running OSX 10.4.8 at home and a new G5 at work.
I transfer the database between the two computers 1-2 times per week.

I¹d appreciate any suggestions for fixing these problems.

Thanks, Shannon
