Before you start doing anything, make a backup of your Microsoft User Data
folder along with iCal and Address Book data. It¹s easy for a user error to
create catastrophe with the wrong choice. Sync Services have also been known
to do the unexpected also so having a back up is crucial.

If you read BASICS OF HOW SYNC SERVICES WORKS, it states " Entourage is not
synchronizing with iCal but with the Truth." The data that is erased is in
the Truth.

After you erase the data as per instructions, erase the Apple AB then set
sync services up again. BE SURE you have it so Entourage is the primary
source, or Entourage will sync with an empty AB and you'll lose everything.
Now you see why it's important to make a backup first?

Hope this answers your questions.
