Apologies first for using an incorrect subject line. Found in the interim this is not just an Entourage problem but occurs elsewhere; in MS Word as well. It seems a keyboard shortcut setting somehow changed and it has moved that particular function over one key. Still trying to solve it but I assume that now it's not a topic specific to this list.
