It's possible you sent the original one with a different address than your
subscribed one. Check your original email to see what address was used.

I don't have an answer on this. Duplicate contacts is a known problem. For
instance having a middle name in an Address Book contact will cause the
contact to be duplicated when it is synced to Entourage.

Palm users have Undupe to help get rid of their duplicates because of the
duping problem.

I suspect it's just a glitch in SyncServices that is causing the problem and
most likely it's Apple that will have to fix it. Some users have resorted to
Paul Berkowitz's scripts Sync Entourage-iCal because of problems with Sync
Services.

Sorry I don't have a solution to this. Someone else hopefully will come
along with some clues that might help. I don't think any of the delete
duplicate scripts work on events and I don't think you can do a custom view
on dupe events.
