Hi, I've been having some problems with Spotlight and Entourage in that it was showing messages with their generic xxxx.VrgeMessage titles in Spotlight searches but I've now fixed this to a point by using Onyx to reset the Spotlight index forcing my disk to be re-indexed. This has restored the subjects and dates to the search results and it appears all of the metadata is intact...
I also rebuilt my Entourage database file while the re-index was going on as a way to make sure everything was OK with that side of things.. However, I now have a new problem... Now when I do a spotlight search it gives results correctly but when I try to open one it says 'Entourage cannot open this item' 'To view the item, switch to the .-Steve Levin identity' I only have one identity and that it the 'Steve Levin' one so I'm confused about this... Any ideas how this can be fixed... Looks like some kind of permissions thing but I'm no expert!
