Ah, I hadn't realised that this can be changed from 'Task contains'. Yes I
can view a particular category from here with 'Incomplete tasks' selected in
category views. Plus, this button actually updates to reflect the current
state so, if I change Tasks View, the button changes to 'All' to let me know
that I'm now viewing all categories in the view I selected.

I still find the interaction between Tasks Views and the View menu
confusing. I can choose 'Completed Tasks' in the View menu and 'Incomplete '
in the Tasks Views and I'll see the tasks given by whichever I selected
last, *but the other doesn't update to reflect the change*, i.e. if I now
select 'Completed Tasks' in the View menu, the Tasks window doesn't update
and it shows me that I'm seeing a Tasks View called 'Incomplete', which I'm
not. It's just not elegant.

Finally (I hope!), when I select 'Incomplete Tasks' in the View menu, I see
11 incomplete tasks. When I select the Task View called 'Incomplete', for
which the only criterion is 'Is incomplete', I see 18 incomplete tasks
stretching further into the future. Can you explain the difference in
selection criteria between the View menu and the Tasks Views?

Thanks for your help,
