Sometimes, I send myself a short email message, as a quick way of setting a
reminder on my home computer when I am at work, etc.

Today I noticed that Entourage had put one of these messages in my Junk
E-mail folder, with Junk likelihood = high. This email was trivially
simple. I had used my "send link" AppleScript, to email myself a link to a
web page. The message body contained only a URL

a/>

and the message subject line was the title of the web page: "Configure
TCP/IP In Vista ~ Windows Fanatics".

I know that some spammers send out messages with the addressee in the from
field. To foil this, I have Entourage set to embed a custom header in my
outgoing messages. I also use a custom rule that looks for this custom
header, and marks messages as "Not junk" if it is found.

But this one was still filed as junk. It was received in an IMAP account,
by the way.

I just tried a resend of the same exact message. This time it was not
detected as junk, and went to my inbox. It seems that the filter's effect
is random.
