If you are using the Mailing List Manager (MLM) correctly, you shouldn¹t
have too many of those to check destination folder. For your rules, you
should look at using Categories as much as possible over using individual
email addresses. This reduces the possibility of error and will
automatically include any new addresses added to that category.

You can drag the message to the desktop and then back into a local folder.
This will cause you to have a duplicate message but this new message will
not have had rules run on it. When you now Apply all rules, the MLM should
fire and you can help determine which rule is causing the problem.

Remember the key to rules working correctly is an updated Address Book with
categories assigned to each entry.
