Thanks for the reply, Diane.  Unfortunately, these tricks are designed to do
the opposite of what I need.  These are methods for detecting spams that
spoof the "From" header with my own address.  My problem is that the
built-in spam filter is incorrectly detecting legitimate messages from me,
sent to myself, as spam.  I am already using a variant of the fourth method
on the above linked page, but set up to protect legitimate emails from being
junked.  The rule detects a custom header that I insert in outgoing
messages, and if it is found in an incoming message, the message is supposed
to be classified as "Not Junk".  But Entourage is still flagging these
messages as junk.

And, as noted in my original post in this thread, Entourage is even marking
messages in my Sent Items folder as Junk.  This makes no sense at all.
