A better way to implement this would be to emulate the behavior of Finder
windows.  A command-click on the message window's title bar would reveal a
popup menu, showing all the nested folders containing the message.  Clicking
on any of these opens the folder.  This implementation is found in lots of
Mac apps, so it's the first place that many users will look.
