It's possible that one of the group's email addresses (one that goes to aol?) is malformed.
Break your big group into smaller ones. If/when Entourage chokes on one of the smaller groups, break it down further till you find the faulty address. Also, note that some ISPs don't allow you to send to groups over some particular number (50 in some cases). I don't think that's your problem here but keep it in mind.
