Evening all (or morning - if that suits better),

Thanks to all of the folks who have made contributions that have made
our Entourage experience better - I have been lurking and benefiting for the
last 12 months or so ... Now I need some help.

I'm sure that the subject line of this e-mail will have long time
Entourage users in an Exchange environment tutting and shaking there head,
but I ask for some forebearance ... I'm new to the Entourage Exchange battle
and need some help in the dark art that is setup an integration.

We recently moved to SBS2003R2 with Exchange for e-mail. Whole lot of
reasons why, but long and short, we needed to get better calendar visibility
for our execs and managers to maximise their availability. For 95% of our
users, the Exchange migration was seamless - after all Office 2k3 was made
for Exchange. Enter the Blacksheep - me and my MacBook Pro Core Duo and OS X
10.4.10 with Office 2004 (11.3.7 now 11.3.8).

No sweat I thought, add an Exchange account, give some details about our
servers and away we go - after I have been telling people how easy this Mac
thing is. Hmmmm ... A week of dedicated effort later and I have resorted to
Crossover Mac, Outlooks 2003 and crossing fingers. But I hate to be beaten.

The problem that I have is manifesting as a requirement for an
additional root certificate. Our SBS2003 server has a self signed
certificate, and I have tried all the different methods for exporting the
certificate and then adding it to the Apple X509Anchors set ... Each time I
do it the certificate makes an appearance in the right place when checked
through Keychain Access (and Microsoft Cert Manager and Terminal ...)

I would really like to be able to use Entourage for all of my e-mail,
has anyone got any ideas?
