The files in that location are the files Entourage provides to Spotlight, so that Spotlight can index your Entourage messages (and other data). Your original messages are still in your database, located in: ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/Main Identity But I don't know what's going to happen if when you restart Entourage. Will Entourage regenerate the cache files you removed? Will Spotlight lose those messages? Or will Spotlight reinspect those messages?
