Catch 22? Strategy Q's... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can anyone confirm this?
According to <http://www.macfixit.com/> Palm conduit no longer works It appears as though the conduit for syncing with Palm devices is broken under Entourage 2008. One reader writes: "Entourage conduit for palm no longer works with 2008. There seems to be no replacement and I had to reinstall Entourage 2004." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am presently on OS 10.4.11 & latest updates, Office 2004, Palm Desktop, Treo 700p, PB G4 17 Eventually, I want to migrate to iPhone. If Entourage 2008 doesn't support Palm, does it mean that I can't upgrade to Office 2008 until after I used 2004 for my Data Transfer? I can't evaluate Office 2008 in its full glory until I upgrade from my PBG4 to Intel MacBook Pro (waiting for the next hardware update) A friend has stopped using Entourage after moving to Leopard. He said: why do I need Entourage in Between if Mail is meant to work with iPhone natively? In Theory that might be true, since it's Apple and Apple, but I haven't used Mail with Leopard, so I can't tell. And till now, I always thought of Entourage being more of a Pro App, compared to Mail. Thus it effects my decision as far as staying with Entourage, and maybe even Office... Has anyone here played with both Combinations: Entourage(2004 or 2008) + iPhone and Mail/iCal/AddressBook + iPhone? How do they compare? Pros and Cons of each? Have you seen a website that can help Palm/Entourage Users make an educated choice at this fork in the road? Whether it's Palm Desktop or Entourage, how does one share Notes/Memos with iPhone?
