So as far as I can tell, the Delegate feature doesn't work in Entourage. Can other people assign Delegates in Entourage? It looks like it has been a problem for over 4 years (since at least Office 2004), and hasn't been fixed. So why is the option to make a delegate still in Entourage? Wouldn't it make more sense to have the delegate area say "Use Outlook", but then allow you to see the delegates you have already setup?
My frustration comes from not being able to setup Delegates after spending 1/2 a day waiting for Entourage to unlock itself after each failed attempt. Every time I try to setup the delegate it sends back the 64927 Error (Entourage can not connect to server, check password). If what I've read online and here (a mention of it back on July 11th), then setting up delegates just doesn't work for Entourage. Has anybody had any success setting up Delegates in Entourage? (specifically for Calendars) Sometimes "Use Outlook" isn't as easy of an option as they want you to believe. Thanks.
