I am having sync problems with Entourage and iCal.

I am running:
Entourage 2004 11.4.0 (all updates)
iCal 2.0.5 (all updates)
Mac OS 10.4.11 (all updates)
iPhone 3G 2.0.2 (all updates)
MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo

1) Entourage does not get iCal events.

If I put a new event in iPhone, and sync to iCal through iTunes, iCal gets
the iPhone event.

If I put a new event in iCal, and sync to iPhone through iTunes, iCal gets
the event.

If I put a new event in Entourage, and let the daemons do their business,
iCal gets the event.

If I put an new event in iCal (directly, or through iPhone), Entourage DOES
NOT get the event.

How do I get Entourage to see the iCal events? I have the prefs set
correctly ("Synchronize events and iCal and .Mac"). I turned that Entourage
pref off, then on, and then told Entourage to "merge Entourage and iCal." I
know that the Entourage sync service runs occasionally, because the fans
spin up, and process monitor shows me that Microsoft Sync Services is using
99% of some resource.

2) iCal is reporting double events.

For example, iCal reports 9/1 as Labor Day twice. One instance is through
iCal's Labor Day holiday event, and the second is through Entourage's Labor
Day holiday event.

There is supposed to be only one Labor Day on 9/1/08.

How do I get the two programs to show one of everything?

Thanks/Roger+
