Entourage 2004 was the version to offer Exchange support using WebDAV. Entourage X 10.1.4 was a patch to Entourage X that offered very minimal Exchange support but that required IMAP access and had nowhere near the functionality as 2004 or 2008. Entourage 2004 SP2 (11.2.0) was a major Exchange compatibility update and introduced more features. Subsequent updates have either added features or improved server communications. I have setup instructions here: "Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server at work" <http://entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeatwork.html> "Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server from Home" <http://entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeathome.html> Entourage 2008 is a major upgrade when combined with Exchange Server 2007 and uses a combination of WebDAV and Web Services to accomplish extra functionality such as the extended Out of Office assistant or some delegation features.
