You can have both Office 2008 and Office 2004 installed at the same time. You can even run both copies of all applications at the same time. Running both versions of Entourage doesn't make much sense except when moving things over and you want to check settings. One of the biggest features that I appreciate is the Spotlight search inside Entourage is so fast, just that one feature makes it worthwhile to update. In Entourage 2008, the default account is now at the top of the folder window. This is huge for Exchange and IMAP users. Entourage 2008 is also much better at rendering some HTML newsletters. I had several that would not open in Entourage 2004 or showed up blank or just weird that all work in Entourage 2008. The biggest downside to Office 2008 is install/update issues. If you follow directions you'll have no problems, but if you alter your system files or install without quitting all applications [EMAIL PROTECTED] Happens.
