Wow! Suddenly, the events in iCal (the entourage calendar) and Ent 2008 are not appearing. I do have the Entourage calendar checked in iCal. I tried unchecking the Ent calendar in iCal and rechecking...doesn't make it appear. Other calendars, like Holidays, appear fine.
Fortunately, the events are present on MobileMe and on my iPhone....and I don't want to lose them... I saw the recent news about locked iCal calendars but that does not appear to be the problem here.
