Hi all I don¹t know who runs the Entourage Help Page, but there are a couple of errors that I have found fixes for that I would like to contribute:
-18595 This error occurs if your company uses Microsoft¹s ISA Proxy Server, and your mac is trying to retrieve mail through the Proxy Server. It won¹t work, to my knowledge. The Mac OS must talk to the mail server directly, so make sure the mail server¹s IP address is in the System Preferences->Network->Advanced [button]->Proxies [tab]->²Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains:² field. -18599 I¹m not sure why this happened, but it is related to authentication. We use Kerberos authentication which is normally quite reliable, however there must have been a problem with the ticket, because the user could not send or receive mail, and received this error instead. I quit Entourage and relaunched it. Then we were asked to re-authenticate by providing credentials- the special dialog box with Entourage¹s icon and the Kerberos icon in miniature came up. All functions then worked properly. I checked the Kerberos application in /System/Library/CoreServices/ and we had been issued a fresh ticket.
