ED: I have done alot of boating and read and written lots of trip
reports. Yours is fine and informative except for one important
omission. Water level encountered during the trip. Since there is a
USGS real time gage in Cooksburg that information is easily retrieved
and filed away for future reference.

Boaters tend to call trips with lots of scraping and ELF trip (ie
Extremely Low Flow) or at even lower flows a hiking trip which no
boater likes to admit to participating or enjoying.
