Joe,

Congratulations. Hopefully, your pictures and narrative will help lots of
people understand the forestry principles and arguments that cannot be
understood from verbal descriptions alone. As of now, the ENTS membership
stands at 253. I have a feeling lots of these folks will enjoy and find
instructive your videos. I hope you'll consider go through MTSF with me and
capture the super trees on film.

Bob

Joe,

Excellent. I will add a Joe Zorzin Television Network page on the ENTS site.

The text of your link to YouTube worked, but clicking on it did not. Here is a
working version of the link:

Here's the YouTube version, if the other, high definition version, plays in a
clunky way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_6WDMTBCyE

With this version, be sure to click on "play in high quality" in the lower
right corner. It should play OK.

Well, here it is- my very first video! Rather amateurish for sure but not bad
for a first try and posted on Vimeo. This is not like the tiny low quality
videos on YouTube- this is high definition, well, the lesser of the two high
definition formats- 1280x720 pixels, what is known as 720p. If you have a very
high speed internet connection it will play smoothly. If you have a not so fast
high speed connection, it will definitely be jerky in places. If you only have
a dial up connection- don't even try. Later I'll upload a reduced version to
YouTube for those of you with a hillbilly connection to the net. Be sure to
have your sound turned on.

When it first comes up it will be in showing in 640x360 resolution though it's
actually be sent out in 720p, so if you have a large monitor you can click on
the enlarge button in the lower right corner to see it at the full 720p
resolution.

I intend to produce many more videos on high grading, good forestry, foresters
and loggers at work, ENTS events, interviews of state forestry policy makers
(the ones with large gonads), etc.

"Showing 2 clearcuts in Massachusetts: at October Mt. State Forest in Berkshire
County and at Tully Lake Recreation Area in Royalston near the New Hampshire
border. The issue is raised if such clearcutting is good forestry. I am a
licensed consulting forester with 35 years experience.

Forestry policies in this state need massive reform."
