ENTS, I recently ask that fall foliage 2008 photos be sent to me for posting on the website. [EMAIL PROTECTED] In response I received sets of photos from Steve Galehouse from the Black River and Rocky River in Ohio. From Ron Gonzales I received a set from a hike up West Kill Mt on the western end of the Devil's Path, in the West Kill Wilderness Area of the Catskill Park (NY). Ron noted "These pictures are all from areas Mike Kudish has identified as first growth forest. It wasn't quite peak color yet, but those old sugar maples sure were beautiful... " This was an unexpected and welcome submission by someone who posts infrequently to the list. I want to thank Ron and Steve for these photos. I also have posted several of mine and one from Carl Harting to the following page: http://www.nativetreesociety.org/fall_foliage_2008.htm The invitation is till open if you want to add your photos to the collection. the page is slow to load on dial-up lines.
