Hey Russ, I saw that in the Bah-stun Globe this morning- when I read the title,
I thought it would be all about how we aren't clearcutting enough- that's the
pitch of the regional forestry establishments- that by not clearcutting enough,
we're losing early succession habitats- a crock of **** in my opinion. I should
have known that those real scientists, unlike lame "forestry leaders" drew the
right conclusion- that the problem at Walden is due to climate change- but, I
don't doubt, the forestry honchos will start pitching the clearcutting thing
again as a way to solve the Walden problem! duh....
