Joe, Everyone, I am in favor of changing the thread titles when the thread topic changes. I don't know where the idea that I did not came from. It is better to just start a new topic from scratch from a blank email message also, as sometimes the posts are still lumped together on Google and in the digests under their old names even if the subject line has changes. Bob Leverett is the owner of the list. I am just one of four managers. I may be more active in general and also deal with the posts more as part of the process of keeping the website up to date.

Frank, once said something about NOT changing the thread title- but perhaps that's only for threads that don't morph too far. On the other hand, it's sometimes interesting to see how threads do morph. So, if Ed. agrees that it's OK to change the thread title in such cases- it's probably a good idea.
