Okay....And I'm working in the NYBG Forest today so I will TRY not to
cheat and ask for help. Although these arborists are all from around
here, so they might not know. Would this tree tolerate the NYC climate
enough to be a specimen tree on the garden grounds?

It may take me awhile as I may not be able to get internet access for
awhile, but if anyone else guesses I won't look.
id: small tree, trunk subdivides at say 5" (assuming you are 10"
tall....)
