Very close....they are both native to the mediteranean, but as mdvaden
passed over above, it was a cork oak which was widely planted in the
south years ago. I figured the bark would give it away. When you
posted the first one, the amur cork tree, I almost said cork oak due
to the similar appearance of the bark.
