The HWA made the front page of today’s Ithaca Journal. It has been
found in 19 areas in the Finger Lakes Region including Cornell
Plantations. The article also provides information on the threat
being raised by the emerald ash borer and the Asian long-horned
beetle. It was nice to see so much attention being brought to these
invasive species.

“Our suicidal poets (Plath, Berryman . . . et al) spent too much of
their lives inside rooms and classrooms when they should have been
trudging up mountains, slogging through swamps, rowing down rivers.
The indoor life is the next best thing to premature burial.”
Edward Abbey
