Ed, Larry, Shiplax,

I nominated a single stem river birch back in August for Pa.'s Champion List
that is nearly identical to the two you mentioned. It's located at Lock 60
of the Schuylkill River Canal. Scott measured the tree at: CBH-10'6", Ht.
70.3, Av. Sp.-93'. There are two photos of it on Scotts' web site,
www.pabigtrees.com. Shiplax, if you could get some pictures that would also
be great.

Mike,

That is pretty fat for a river birch. I don't think I have seen any even
close to that size!. Where are the trees located? Site? County? State?

Ed
