Yes, that is funny!
I am a railfan, of sorts. I also love the old painted advertising, But
everything on that site I find fascinating.
Did you get to go through the "You'd never believe it's in NYC" page at all?
There's some great stuff there. I'm fascinated by Broad Channel and the Jamaica
Bay Wildlife Refuge, as well as the Queens County Farm Museum, but that's not
all. lol

You and other ENTS definitely need to come here sometime this summer. Besides,
there are several trees I would like measured by the pros. They are all pretty
near here except for the giant Buttonwood down in Salem County. I know everyone
was impressed when they saw the picture. If you haven't seen it, all send it
along.

Barry,

This site is great! I checked out the subway pix. I love old subway
stations. And I love seeing old abandoned stations when riding the
train. Some stations on the A line are so deep in the ground that you
feel like you're miles away from the surface.

Oh, I also love old fading advertisements that were painted on the
sides of brick buildings.

I think it is very funny that you have this fascination with NYC, but
don't get to go very often and I am fascinated with the Pine Barrens
but have never gone!

this guy's writing style.
