Beth,

Missouri is one of the greatest gardens. I've worked in St. Louis
several times (at the Opera Theatre of St. Louis) and been able to
visit many times. I'm coming at the beginning of May to sing with the
symphony and look forward to going again. (Do you ever go to the
symphony?) I visited before I started studying botany/ecology etc., so
this visit will be completely different.

It's the New York Botanical Gardens here. Quite wonderful. The smaller
Brooklyn Botanic is also nice and has a Japanese Garden, as NYBG does
not (LOVE the one in St. Louis).

The Shaws were/are great supporters of the opera and symphony too. And
the Gateway Arch is my absolute favorite monument. Better than the
Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore... It's so beautiful
and inspiring.

Jenny
