Carl Harting lives in Butler County, and Anthony Kelly lives that way some way. 
 I a sure one of them can measure it when they get a chance.  Carl ad  recently 
visited threes sites out there,  Two of which were in Butler and one in 
adjacent Lawrence County.  we found some nice white oak, but not any that fat.

If they do not come through I will try to get out there and do the measurements 
for you.  Oaks that big need to be measured!!

  The pictures don't show any crown dieback.  The one tree has lost a
  major limb, but I think the heights are just understated, which is the
  opposite of the norm. Any of our western Pa ENTS ever get to Butler
  County?
