That was not a completly useless discussion. I found it interesting because I
have never been to Maine and I don't know much about Maine outside it was once
part of Mass. You said that you saw really big birches do you know what kind
they were? I am glad to hear about the healthy hemlocks but sadden to hear
about the beeches.
