Barry,
Nice shot of the crown of that big tuliptree. I'm amazed at how well
this species does in the suburban environment.

Subject: [ENTS] huge tuliptree - Egg Harbor City, NJ
ENTS,
Today my father told me about a car show in town, and I had not heard
about it. We had to stop in town anyway on our way to somewhere else, so
we stopped in at the car show for a couple of hours. It was in the
little park in the center of town called Lincoln Park.
So while we were walking around admiring the cars I took notice of this
great big tuliptree in the park, one of several actually. I asked my dad
to take a picture of it with me in front of it for scale. My estimate of
its size based on other tuliptrees in town that I have measured is
aproximately 11 1/2 feet CBH, give or take a couple inches.
So here are my pictures of this tree for your enjoyment.
