ENTS,
Today I stayed really local, and only went to Batsto. I parked at the church
and checked on a rare plant in the cemetery and then hiked over to the nature
center in the historic village. While there, I and the naturalist and 2 other
people were playing with a praying mantis, trying to take his picture. When the
naturalist tried to take his picture he jumped on the naturalist's hand, and
then on his camera! It was funny. I watched the hummingbirds for a while also,
and the naturalist and I did a lot of talking. Then I went for a short hike,
maybe a couple miles, and took some pictures of some big Pitch Pines and some
beautiful Atlantic White Cedars along one of the rivers.
I'll send pictures tomorrow.
Barry
