Once you have the Lat Long coordinates in Google Earth, then you can email it 
to yourself or someone else and Google Earth generates a .kmz file.  There are 
many programs available to convert from one of these GPS file systems to 
another.  I looked on www.downloads.com and downloaded several free ones.  I 
haven't tried to use any of them yet.

  Actually you can select the pin for a place then type in the Lat Long and it 
will place the pin at those coordinates in Google Earth.  I plotted the 
locations for all of the trees on the list they published.  Of course you can 
label the points, select what features are displayed on the map, and choose 
between different shapes and sizes of stick pins.  It worked quite well once I 
played with it and figured out what I was doing..
