RE: [ENTS] Presque Isle State Park, PAMike,

Thank you. I try to do a good job when I write a trip report. I used to make
scrapbooks of trips and adventures. I still want to do them, but I don't
really get around to actually doing it. So I guess my trip reports serve that
purpose by themselves.

  Ed,

I’m impressed with your textbook quality trip reports. It makes me want to
there on a kayak trip.

I’d like to do the same for my trips but it looks like too much work! So I
just catalog all my trip photos.

When I was with the Green Mountain Girl she was into scrapbooking all our
trips with cool frames, artwork, and written text and that was cool.

On Monday August 24, 2009 I visited Presque Isle State Park, just north
of Erie, PA. The park occupies a peninsula that juts 2 miles out into Lake
Erie forming a curved spit about 6 miles total in length. Presque Isle is the
most visited state park in the state because of a series of popular beaches
facing Lake Erie.
