Tim,

Not to worry, my friend. The old tree guru will sally forth to eastern Mass and
calm the legitimate and understandable agitation of our beloved eastern Mass
Ents. When I return, the sun will shine, birds will sing, flowers will bloom,
and trees will grow taller. All will be well in Middle Massachusetts Earth.

I've already discussed this with Robert. Since Robert always includes other
sidebar exhibits with the main exhibit, we have other options. I'll discuss
expanding the main exhibit with him but he can be a very gentle tough
individual. Our goal is to showcase special trees on dcr property without
causing a rift between the Massachusetts ENTS. I gave you the responsibility
for picking the top ten because I didn't want the tree spirits to have another
issue/conflict with us. I still laugh when I think about you trying to come up
with the Top Ten Trees. This exercise is a good example of what I deal with
when I try to always please the public.

I'm still laughing, Bob.

I've been waiting to share these two hidden giants with you. They are fabulous
trees.

This weekend (Sunday - Tuesday) I'm headed over to the Cape to check out pitch
pines. Our tree search widens. Any chance of increasing the number of trees to
be displayed to 12?
