Just passing them along for general interest- I presume that many ENTS members
have an interest in diverse forest related subjects. I guess I couldn't be
promoting them since they don't benefit me in any way. They seem like
interesting articles, though of course, I'm the world's biggest critic of the
forestry establishment(s). I generally find interesting the material that the
extension foresters let us know about- and Cornell in particular has a great
reputation.
Joe

PS: are you related to the former state rep. Zelazo? Back about 30 years ago I
and a former partner Don Harris did a forestry plan for him for his property in
Clarksburg.

Are you promoting the articles, or just passing them along?

    Greetings Foresters,

Pete Smallidge from Cornell Extension and Ralph Nyland from SUNY ESF
recently developed two new publications that I thought might interest you.

    1. Woodland Guidelines for the Control and Management of American Beech:
http://www.dnr.cornell.edu/ext/info/pubs/FC%20factsheets/american%20beech%20Fact%20Sheet.pdf

    2. Silviculture and Invasive Insects:
http://www.dnr.cornell.edu/ext/info/pubs/FC%20factsheets/silviculture%20&%20invasive%20insects%20Fact%20Sheet.pdf

Other Cornell publications can be found on their Forest Connect website:
http://www.dnr.cornell.edu/ext/info/pubs/

    I hope you are well.
