Dale,

Great report and photos! The grove of hemlocks look healthy. That is an
awesome slippery elm with the best form I've ever seen. I can't recall
measuring any over 90'. How long does it typically take you to core a tree?
After reading your report I just had to get out to the woods so this morning
I did a RI for a site that hasn't been logged since 1777. Anyway, congrats
on your finds.

George

Dale, Nice report.

We are planning a summer trip up to the Erie Ohio area next summer. I
can't wait. Of course we will be visiting amusement parks mostly, but
I hope to see some trees too. Any state champs in those drainages?
that scarlet oak looked impressive.

Scott
