The circumference I measured at 179 inches, and this is a very tall, single-trunked tree in Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. I was not able to measure crown spread or height at the time. The tree is not visible from the trail, and is located at roughly 4,000 ft. above sea level near Little Santeetlah Creek. I do not live nearby, but I will be more than happy to provide more information to someone who may be interested in visiting the tree to take the measurements. See attached images. The day pack in the image is about 18” tall.
