Tom,

Great to a reference list like this for the whole state. Thanks for
pulling the list together. It will help me get the most out of my
time should I ever find an opportunity to get out in the woods.

Here are a few updates, mostly of less measured species.

Maple, striped...............54.2'.....2'0".....Balsam Mountain, Catskills

Alder, speckled............28.9'.....10.5"...Cicero Swamp WMA

Ash, black...................91.1'.....4'0"....Cicero Swamp WMA

Juniper, common..........24.2'.....1'3.5"..Bonaparte Fen

Larch, eastern..............91.0'.....6'3.5"..Jam Pond

Spruce, black..............76.9'.....3'11.5" Bonaparte Fen

White cedar, northern...83.5'......9'2".....Bonaparte Fen

Cherry, choke..............30.3'.....1'6"......Three Mile Bay WMA

Poison Sumac.............18.6'.....1'1"......Three Mile Bay WMA

Nannyberry..................26.3'.....2'10"....Henderson Shores Unique Area

For the most part, I doubt these individuals are exceptional, though
the northern white cedar and nannyberry may be.

Bob,

I believe Dale had a taller Norway spruce at Letchworth Gorge SP (129.2'?).
