Gary: The Gleason and Cronquist manual of plants claims that Lemna minuta has smaller fronds than Lemna minor, but the drawing in the accompanying Illustrated companion book shows Lemna minor being smaller. I was always told that Lemna minor and Lemna minuta had the smallest flowers of any known plant, but have not seen any data.
